I’ve explored the ‘fractal’ watercolour play on other papers, so I wanted to try the look on these 165 year old sheets of paper. What gets added here is texture that the newer and ‘real’ watercolour papers promise. The texture, it seems to me, is added to by the layering of the underlying text.
