These are my very first recollections of the Okanagan Valley when we visited my grandparents' orchard just a mile south of downtown Oliver. My grandfather was the town's postmaster and my grandmother taught elementary school. I felt so comfortable wandering through those rows of shade in the heat of the Okanagan summer sun.
