Island

There is an island in the middle of Beaver Lake above Winfield, and this piece is a very liberal interpretation of that island. I can't recall how many times since I was in high school, I've fished that lake and always found my best fishing on the ‘turn-around’ at the back side of the island. I guess, in ways, this block print is my tribute to some good fishing, and I'm sure that somehow the sentience of the island played a role in that success.
