This is one in a series of panorama format landscapes I began years ago and still find compelling. Since this period, my work has generally been smaller format work, and I look back on these stretches of paper with longing.
The Okanagan Valley is, to me at least, an undeniably horizontal setting - its rolling uplands and proximate hillsides slope gently to the lower plateau elevations of the provincial interior.
